TM Icon Extractor (IconEx)
This program was developed by our team after a lot of unsuccessful attemptings to find a free utility with the same features:
simple interface, grab icons from exe- and dll-files. Also we needed to grab groups of icons.
So, with our IconEx icon extractor you can:
grab icons from any exe- and dll-files
grab not only one icon but the group og them
save icons to place on your computer you wish
After you download the installation file of TM Icon Extractor run the setup file and install the
program on your computer. Run the program by clicking on the shortcut "TM Icon Extractor" at your Windows Desktop
or through the Windows Start menu. The main window of IconEx will appear
Ask the file selection dialog with "Open" button on the program panel. Select the target file from which you need to grab
icons. After you select the file and press "Open" button in this dialog the icons will appear.
With many icons:
Select the icon you need to save and press "Save icon" button. Choose the place on your computer by using the files saving
dialog - it will be saved where you'd like.
If you wish to save all icons you got from the file on the same place press the button "Save all". They will be saved with the
name "ico" + number in the set with "ico" extension.
